Day 6: Do Nothing!



Yay yay it's FriYAY! The first Friday of December is done and dusted..or almost at least by the time I share this. So this is your reminder of your TO DO list for the weekend: NOTHING!

I've come across some articles recently that emphasise the importance of doing nothing, an act that we've somehow forgotten how to embrace in times of recent. The idea of being super busy with calendars choc-a-block full and scheduled for weeks on end was once the "in" thing. More and more however, people are learning about the art of doing NOTHING!

From the Italians who embrace the concept of the "sweetness of doing nothing" or dolce far niente or the Dutch who practice niksen loosely translated to "doing nothing", the idea of having downtime as a part of our daily lives is gaining more traction.
